Our Story…
Mickey was my middle school introduction to Mickey. Although I initially felt a bit in awe of his presence, he told my friends that I “talk too excessively”. (Don’t worry! haha!)

Our junior year in college was also the time we got engaged. We were married two years later , after we graduated from college. Our wedding took place in the summer of 2004, in our hometown , near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
We relocated to North Carolina that same summer we bought our first home and got our first jobs since leaving college. It wasn’t long before we discovered that we were finally prepared to start a family.
While teaching second grade, I was thrilled to find out that I would soon become a mom! Our oldest son was born in the year 2006 (and I became a stay at home mom.) In the following years, we suffered one loss, and then another child every two years.
2006: Our youngest son was born (Jack) & I left my job as a 2nd grade teacher.
